Mrs. Barbara Dilmore LeBlanc

Mrs. Barbara Dilmore LeBlanc, 85, passed away on December 2, 2018 at West Point Community Living Center in West Point. Barbara was born on August 21, 1933, in Laurel, the daughter of the late Mims William, Sr. and Vertile Walters Dilmore. Barbara worked as a secretary for Tom Tubb Law Firm, Farmer's Home Administration in West Point, Civil and Selective Service at Columbus Air Force Base, and was the Office Manager for Remple Roto-Cast in West Point. She was an avid and accomplished golfer and was a member of the West Point Country Club. She was a flower gardener with a green thumb. She enjoyed bowling and playing bridge. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in West Point. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She married Reginald Joseph "Reggie" LeBlanc in January 1979 and he predeceased her on February 14, 1992. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by the father of her children: Robert "Yank" Hamlin, Sr., a son: Mike LeBlanc, three brothers: Mims William Dilmore, Jr., Ted Dilmore, and Bill Dilmore and a sister: Janice Dilmore. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 6, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Fuenral Home Chapel with Reverend Darian Duckworth officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include her two daughters: Debbie H. Marsteller (Nick) of West Point and Dottie H. Tillman (Russ) of Argyle, TX: her son, Robert Hamlin, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Kenner, LA: eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her three sisters, Brenda Leister, Jenny Campbell, and Pat Pate, all of West Point, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Taggart, Russ Tillman, Mike Nichols, Ty Scott, Dr. James Towery, Terry Swetz, and Kenny Dill. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Robert Jones, Dr. John P. Whitecar, Dr. Edmund A. Miller, Jr., Nurses and Staff of West Point Community Living Center, and her golfing buddies at West Point Country Club.
