Mrs. Janice N. Barham

Mrs. Janice N. Barham, 76, passed away on December 19, 2017, at her residence in West Point. Mrs. Janice was born on July 12, 1941, in Ashland, the daughter of the late Reverend Robert Clayton and Icie Pearl Kirk Nanney. Mrs. Janice, a devout member of the Old Aberdeen Road Church of Christ, had an unwavering faith in God. She was in her element spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Janice loved classical music, singing, traveling, sewing and gardening. Mrs. Janice retired from Royal Trucking in West Point, after a long career as Accounts Receivable Manager. She was preceded in death by a number of sisters and brothers. The family will receive friends Friday, December 22, 2017, from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the Old Aberdeen Road Church of Christ in West Point. A Memorial Service celebrating Mrs. Janice’s life will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. John Bauer officiating and assisted by Mr. Robert Craig and Mr. Doug Thompson. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Mrs. Janice’s life. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of the arrangements. Survivors include three adoring daughters, Julie Harpole (Shag) of Cedar Bluff, Dawn Barham (Chris) of Columbus, and Wendy Vickers (Paul) of West Point. Her legacy also includes ten grandchildren; Christy Stafford (Tracy) of Ecru, Tonya Young (Kavan) of Cedar Bluff, Jason Harpole of West Point, Heather Harpole-Gaskin (Brian) of Birmingham, AL, Jeremy Edward Harpole (Heather) of Danville, IL, Jeremy Ronald Harpole of Cedar Bluff, Lindsay Betts of Mathiston, and Gracelyn, Lessie, and Owen Vickers all of West Point; seventeen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; Her sister, Bonnie Kelly of Canton, Her brother, Bill Nanney (Rita) of Phoenix, AZ, and the father of her children: Paul Barham of West Point. Her generous and kind spirit endeared her to a host of friends whom she also leaves behind.
