Mr. Jimmy Clark Pee Sr

Mr. Jimmy Pee, Sr., 75, passed away on March 30, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle in Columbus. Jimmy was born on November 3, 1947, in Arcola, to the late Carl and Janie Crow Pee. He served in the United States Army. He obtained an Associate's Degree and later his Master Electrical License. He worked at Bryan Foods as a Electrical Engineer and he loved his work. He enjoyed both flower and vegetable gardening. He enjoyed doing yard work and he coined the phrase "I manicured my yard." He was a jack of all trades. If he told you something, you could count on it being done. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and loved attending church and going to Sunday School. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He married Barbara Hardy Pee on August 25, 1973, in West Point, and together they shared 50 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Pee and a half-brother, Carl Pee, Jr. Visitation will be Monday, April 3, 2023, from 9:00-11:00 A.M. at Calvary Baptist Church in West Point. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. with Dr. Joe Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Pee: two daughters, Jamie Lynn Walker and Jennifer Craft (Christopher), one son, Jimmy Clark Pee, Jr., all of West Point: twelve grandchildren, Madison Leigh Walker, Macey Kate Walker, James Logan Walker, Mackenzie Lauren Wright, Carleigh Grace Wright, Carson Gage Wright, Lakelyn Craft, Wesley Craft, Jimmy Clark Pee, III, Dylan Christopher Pee, Christine Jade Pee, and Jefferson Lane Pee: one sister, Bonnie Jaynes (Fred) of Truman, Arkansas, a half-sister, Clairese Steen (Chris), and a host of nieces and nephews Pallbearers will be Jimmy Pee, III, Dylan Pee, Zachary Jaynes, Wesley Craft, Colin Hollingsworth, and Mike Prewitt. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Open Door Sunday School Class at Calvary Baptist Church, all former co-workers at Bryan Foods, the Nurses and Staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital – Golden Triangle, and the Nurses and Staff of Radiation and Oncology at the University of Alabama Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
