Mrs. Pam Crosswhite

Mrs. Pam Crosswhite, 68, passed away on April 27, 2024, at her home in Prairie. Pam was born September 19, 1955, the daughter of the late Bryant L. Smith, Sr. and Jean Moore Smith. She attended Pleasant Grove Community Church. She was the owner and operator of a restaurant. She loved the outdoors, especially loving to fish and ride her four-wheeler. She loved all animals. She was known as a "prankster" that was very straightforward in her opinion. If you didn't want to know her opinion, you had better not ask. She was as "firey" as the red hair on her head. However, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She married Howard Wayne Crosswhite on December 31, 2012, in Una. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Patterson, and her sister, Gayle Williamson. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating and assisted by Brother Wayne Doster. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Wayne Crosswhite of Prairie; three step-daughters, Angel Johnstone of Ethelsville, Alabama, AnnMarie Harris of West Point, and Michelle Jones Griffin (Carl) of Houston; three granddaughters, Candace Kisner (Thomas McCarter) of West Point, Tori Henley (Tucker) of West Point, and Bentley Harris of Columbus; two grandsons, Bo Harris and Alex Johnstone both of Ethelsville, Alabama; two step-grandchildren, Carley and Harlee Griffin both of Houston; and two great-grandchildren, James Williamson of West Point and Hart Henley of West Point; one sister, Tammy Collier of Steens; two brothers, Bryant L. Smith, Jr. (Rita) of Pensacola, Florida and Mike Weeks of Caledonia, and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Chris McCarter, Hart Henley, Mike Weeks, Tim Boatner, Robert Hamby, Shane Collier, Carson Collier, and Charlie Williamson Honorary Pallbearers will be Gregg Collier (Vanessa), Shane Collier (Nikki), Toni "Sissy" Hollis (Jason), Mindy Ferguson (Eric), Samantha Caldwell (Mark), Charlie Williamson, Jr. (Amber), Garrett Smith (Margaret), Garland Smith (Ashley), Sloan Smith (Rachel), Dr. Ned Miller, and Vick Holiday Memorials may be made to West Point/Clay County Animal Shelter, 5122 Old Tibbee Road, West Point, Mississippi 39773.
