Tina Ivy

Tina Louise Ivy left this world too soon on December 3, 2024, at Dugan Memorial Home in West Point, at the age of 55. Tina was born on May 29, 1969, in Pascagoula, to the late Mary Janice and Louie Wayne Boykin. Tina attended Caldwell School in Columbus. She also attended East Mississippi Community College and Mississippi University for Women. Tina worked at various jobs through the years, including Artex, Bigbee Transportation, and UPS, but her favorite job was being a mother and grandmother. Tina’s love for her family and friends illuminated her days. She found immense joy in spending time with her cherished granddaughter, Waverly, whose twinkling eyes often mirrored Tina’s own warmth and spirit. We will remember her with a smile on her face and a Dr. Pepper in her hand. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Janet Lee Redmond and Sandra Dee “Cissy” Adair. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 9:00 A.M. until 10:00 A.M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. Funeral Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brandon Frazier officiating. Burial will follow in Brooksville Cemetery in Brooksville. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Maegan Ivy Pierce (Kale) of West Point and Lauren Ivy Garrard (Patrick) of Pheba: one granddaughter, Waverly Jean Pierce: one brother, John Wayne Boykin of Brooksville: one sister, Pam Boykin Frazier of Starkville: brother-in-law, Jason Redmond of Elizabethtown, Kentucky: one niece, Jamie Redmond: three nephews, Jason Redmond, Jr. (Courtney), Brandon Frazier (Anna), and Tyler Frazier: four great-nephews, Jaiden and Jaxx Redmond and Brayden and Brennen Frazier, as well as her best friend of 42 years, Suzey Hooper. Pallbearers will be Marty Ivy, Ken Ivy, Kale Pierce, Patrick Garrard, Tyler Frazier, Brandon Frazier, Will Miller, and Blake Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Nurses and Staff of Dugan Memorial Home, Nurses and Staff of Gentiva Hospice, Diane Sandifer, and Kelvin Wooten.
