Mr. Charles "Chuck" Chandler Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Charles "Chuck" Chandler, Jr., 67, passed away on December 23, 2014, at Cartersville Medical Center in Cartersville, GA. Chuck was born November 17, 1947, in Knoxville, TN, the son of the late Charlie Wilsford and Martha Jasper Chandler, Sr. He was a Logistics Engineer for Lockheed Martin based in Atlanta, GA, for 20 years. He loved woodworking, gardening, and was also an outdoors enthusiast who loved to fish. He married Rosemary Ann Piller Chandler on April 17, 1985, in Alexandria, VA. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 30, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Todd Chesser officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include His Wife Rosemary A. Chandler of Acworth, GA; One Son, Sam Wellings of Myrtle Beach, SC; Two Grandchildren: Brenden and Amber Wellings both of Myrtle Beach, SC; One Brother, Cary Chandler (Fay) of Knoxville, TN; Two Nephews: Brian Chandler of Nashville, TN, and Devin Chandler of Knoxville, TN; Aunt: Catherine Jasper of Cedar Bluff; and numerous cousins. Pallbearers will be Sam Wellings, John Gaskin, Brenden Wellings, Chuck Portera, Jerry Loden, Cary Chandler, Brian Chandler, and Devin Chandler. Honorary Pallbearers will be Coy Gaskin and Bert Brand. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1818, Memphis, TN 38101. Visitation will be Monday 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
