Mr. Charles "Chuck" Cliett

December 20, 1957 - October 14, 2021

Mr. Charles "Chuck" Cliett, 63, passed away on October 14, 2021 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Chuck was born on December 20, 1957, in West Point, the son of the late Spurgeon, Jr. and Lucille Coggins Cliett. Chuck loved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle and especially spending time with the American Legion Riders. He was a devoted employee of Haas Outdoors, Inc. for 27 years where he was a Warehouse Supervisor. He was a family man that was a loving husband and father. He loved his canine companion, Taco. He was of the Methodist faith. He married Nan Hamlin Cliett on December 27, 1985 in Strong. Visitation will be Monday, October 18, 2021 from 9:00-11:00 A.M. at Calvert Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 A.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wayne Mathis officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Nan Cliett and one son, Charlie Cliett, both of West Point, and three brothers, Andy Cliett (Cindy) of Cedar Bluff, Bobby Cliett (Alisa) of West Point, and Timmy Cliett (Karen) of Cedar Bluff. Pallbearers will be Charlie Cliett, Bo Roberts, Mike Pearson, Kevin Acker, Jonathan Edwards, and Eddy McDonald. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Doctors and Nurses of North Mississippi Medical Center, Dr. Ned Miller, and Tim Horner. Memorials may be made to Strong United Methodist Church, c/o George Watson, 10337 Strong Road, Aberdeen, MS 39730. Friends may leave an online condolence at www.calvertfuneralhome.com
