Mrs. Christi Davidson Keeton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Christi Davidson Keeton, 52, passed away on April 5, 2016, at her home in Pheba. Christi was born August 9, 1963, in Ft. Rucker, Alabama, the daughter of Thomas John Davidson and the late Jessie Kate Sims Davidson. She was a Graduate of Maben High School and East Mississippi Community College, earning her Associates Degree in Drafting and Truck Driving. She was a Paramedic at both OCH Regional Medical Center in Starkville and North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. She was a member of Pheba Baptist Church. She was an avid seamstress that loved making clothes for her grandchildren. She enjoyed making crafts and quilting. She married Floyd Franklin "Franky" Keeton, Jr. on October 6, 1997 in Oktibbeha County. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother: Ricky Davidson. Funeral services will be Friday, April 8, 2016, at 2:00 P.M. from Pheba Baptist Church in Pheba with Reverend Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in the Atlanta Community of Chickasaw County. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Her Husband: Floyd "Franky" Keeton, Jr. of Pheba; Two Daughters, Sylvia Vaughn (Cory) of Maben and Amanda Keeton of Louisville; Two Grandchildren: Gracie and Sonja Vaughn both of Maben; Her Father: Tommy Davidson of Pheba; One Brother: Johnny Davidson (Linda) of Vardaman; Sister-in-Law: Reba McDaniel of Ackerman; Her Caregivers: Tammy Gilbreath of Maben and Debbie McCarter of Pheba; A number of Nieces and Nephews and a number of Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Pallbearers will be Trinity Davidson, Joshua Davidson, Shane Davidson, Cory Vaughn, Danny Waltmon, and Mike Carr. Honorary Pallbearers will be Nurses and Staff of Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle Hospice. Memorials may be made to Palmer Home for Children, Post Office Box 746, Columbus, MS 39701. Visitation will be Thursday 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home and Friday from 1:00-2:00 at Pheba Baptist Church in Pheba, MS.
