“A mom’s hug lasts long after she lets go.” Ms. Cindy Michael, 59, passed away on January 25, 2022 at Baptist DeSoto Hospital in Southaven, Mississippi. She was born on June 14, 1963 in Aberdeen, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Lane Roane (Danny), her father, Charles Lowery Roane, and her mother, Ella Jane White. She devoted her time to her family, always spending quality time with each of her children and grandchildren. Cindy was the happiest when she was in the kitchen cooking. She would spend hours in the kitchen making large feasts for her family every chance she could. She was such a fun person to be around, always making you laugh. She is survived by her sister, Charla Henry (Troy), of Southaven, Mississippi; her two daughters, Brandy Fiebig (Kevin) from Maben, Mississippi and Heather Hoffpauer from Sulligent, Alabama; and seven grandchildren, Aiden, Natalie, Lily, Braxton, Hayden, Wyatt and Skyler. A graveside service will be held at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Una, Mississippi on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Jacob Griggs delivering the eulogy. Calvert Funeral Home in West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.
