Mr. Gregory Allen Wamble

August 6, 1959 - November 14, 2017

Mr. Greg Wamble, 58, passed away on November 14, 2017, at his home in West Point. Greg was born on August 6, 1959, in Orange County, California, the son of the late Bobby Lee and Karen Joan Fisher Wamble. Greg was a member of West Baptist Church in West Point where he served as a Deacon. Greg owned and operated Golden Triangle Marine Service in West Point. Greg enjoyed fishing, jogging, “Rock and Roll” Music, and church activities. Greg was a trivia fanatic. Greg married Vicki May Wamble on June 21, 1980, in West Point. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 16, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. from West End Baptist Church in West Point with Reverend Chris Layton officiating and assisted by Reverend R. C. Bryan. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include His Wife, Vicki Wamble of West Point; Daughter, Allyn Wamble of Starkville; Brother, Christopher Lee Wamble (Leighanne) of Southaven; Father-In-Law and Mother-In-Law, Adrian and Pat May of West Point; Sister-In-Law, Vera Gasparini (Joe); Nieces, Ana Lauren and Molly Gasparini all of Winter Springs, FL and Nephew, Easton Wamble of Southaven Pallbearers will be Bubba Vest, Curtis Middleton, Wayne Plunkett, Jimmy Inmon, Chuck McMullen, Jerry Burns, Mark Huffman, and Jim Marshall. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Garrett Ogg and Cornel Bucaciuc. Memorials may be made to West End Baptist Church, P.O. Box 388, West Point, MS 39773, Home of Grace for Men, P.O. Box 5009, Vancleave, MS 39565 or to Mission on the Hill, P.O. Box 328, West Point, MS 39773. Visitation will be Wednesday 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home and from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Thursday from West End Baptist Church in West Point. Friends may leave an online condolence at www.calvertfuneralhome.com
