Mr. Hayden Allen, 30, passed away on Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - Golden Triangle in Columbus. Christopher Hayden Allen was born July 29, 1986, in Tupelo. He married Jessica Dyan Bohon Allen on May 19, 2010, in West Point. He was a Financial Services Specialist for Region’s Bank in Columbus. Hayden had worked for BancorpSouth in West Point and Columbus and Region’s Bank in Columbus. Hayden was the Worship Leader for 2 years at Hope Community Church in Columbus. He was a talented vocalist and trained musician playing the drums and acoustic guitar. He enjoyed his recording talents as a multi-instrumentalist sharing with his friends and followers. Hayden played in various bands including Youth of Eden, Alibi, Waiting for Brantley and Bouncing Betty. Hayden was a 2004 Graduate of West Point High School, attended Itawamba Community College, and Graduated from MUW in 2014 with a General Education Degree. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. from First Baptist Church in West Point with Minister Robert Mack "Bo" Jeffares officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Wife Jessica Dyan Bohon Allen; Two Daughters, Zoe Jayne Allen and Anberlyn Rayne Allen all of Columbus; Parents Edward Scott and Beverly Riley Allen of West Point; Two Brothers, Scott Allen, Jr. of Columbus and Brian Riley Allen (Gabby) of Concord, CA; One Nephew: Brogan Allen of Concord, CA; and a host of Uncles, Aunts, and Cousins. Mother-in-Law: Reba Ellis (Steve) of Columbus; and Father-in-Law: Floyd Bohon of Starkville. Hayden was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Lacy Edward and Bonnie Ballard Allen and his Maternal Grandparents: William Lunceford and Mary Faye Hussey Riley. Pallbearers will be Daniel Arnold, Shane Sanders, Shawn Sanders, Will Reedy, Lance Cooper, Brad Kidder, Justin Klieber, Jeremy Eakin. Honorary Pallbearers will include all of his fellow musician friends, The Church and Staff of Hope Community Church in Columbus, West Point High School Class of 2004, and his Co-Workers at Regions Bank in Columbus. Visitation will be Monday 4:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home and Tuesday from 12:30-2:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in West Point.
