Mr. James "Jimmy" Myers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. James "Jimmy" Myers, 58, passed away on January 6, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Jimmy was born July 2, 1957, in West Point to Neal Aaron, Jr. and Mary Lou Cartee Myers. He was a member of West End Baptist Church in West Point. He was a craft technician at PACCAR in Columbus. He enjoyed the outdoors and hunting. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend. He married Virginia Russom on October 27, 2007, in Kosciusko. He was preceded in death by his son: Christopher James Myers Funeral services will be Sunday, January 10, 2016, at 1:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jim Sallee officiating and assisted by Reverend Chris Layton. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include His Wife Virginia "Ginny" Myers of West Point; One Daughter, Janie Marie Myers and Fiance' Elliot Knight of West Point; One Son, Jonathan Patrick Myers (Ashley) of Enterprise, AL; Two Step-Daughters: Tiffany Dawn Farmer and Brittany Nicole Beauchamp (Kenneth) both of Kosciusko; Seven Grandchildren: Makalee Noel Bell, John Robert Farmer, Cameron James Farmer, Talon Cage Beauchamp, Riley Jaye Beauchamp, Christopher Patrick Myers, and Tori May Cochran; Parents: Neal Aaron, Jr. and Mary L. Myers of West Point; Mother of his children: Ginger Gill (John) of West Point. Pallbearers will be Billy Ellis, Jeff Meisenholder, Tony Hill, Bruce Forest, Scott Johnson, and Donnie Hurst. Honorary Pallbearers will be his Friends and Co-Workers at PACCAR, Nurses and Staff of the 5-B Wing at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, and Dr. Andrew Kellum and Staff.
