Mr. Julius Edward Ward, Jr., 88, passed away on April 12, 2019, at West Point Community Living Center. Mr. Julius was born July 17, 1930, in Woodland, the son of the late Julius Edward and Nora Susanna Huffman Ward, Sr. He was a retired Supervisor at CECO Buildings in Columbus. He was a member of Woodland Baptist Church. Mr. Julius enjoyed riding his bicycle and working on lawnmowers. In addition to his parents, Mr. Julius was preceded in death by 4 Sisters: Annie Lois Chandler, Mary Alene Weaver, Frances Russell, and Lula Mae Hill. Funeral services will be Sunday, April 14, 2019, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Carl Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Woodland Cemetery near Woodland. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include One Sister, Bettie Ann Ward Morris (Reverend Carl) of Woodland; Special Niece and Caretaker: Wanda Stockton of West Point; A Number of other Nieces and Nephews and a number of other extended family. Pallbearers will be Leon Morris, Randy Morris, Kenny Chandler, Will Huffman, William Huffman, Nick Huffman, Lewis Stockton, Jr., and James Weaver. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hubert Caston, Donnell Moye, and all of the Employees at CECO Building in Columbus. Memorials may be made to Sally Kate Winters Family Services, P.O.
