Mrs. Barbara Linda White, 72, passed away on May 25, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Mrs. White was born October 4, 1941, in Woodland, the daughter of the late Clyde Burlen and Lottie Mae Barbee Nolan. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Columbus, where she was a faithful prayer warrior. She retired from Minyard Foods in Dallas, Texas. She married Frank Thompson White on July 3, 1960, in West Point. Mrs. White leaves a legacy behind as she touched so many lives with her spirit of faith and love. Funeral services will be May 27, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. from First Assembly of God in Columbus with the Brother Jody Gurley officiating, and assisted by Brother Jesse Ray and Brother Derek Youngblood. The body will be at First Assembly of God in Columbus Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Her Husband Frank T. White of Columbus; One Daughter, Michelle White Crawford (Tuffy) of Columbus; Two Sons, Tim White of Tupelo and Keith White (Jackie) of West Point; Six Grandchildren: Emily and Alysa White of Arlington, TX, Nolan and Chase White of West Point, and Brody and Logan Crawford of Columbus; One Sister, Shirley Marasco of Memphis, TN. Pallbearers will be David Lummus, Bob Lummus, Luke Lummus, Aaron Lane, Donald Acker, Nolan White, and Chase White. Honorary Pallbearers will be Byron Acker, First Assembly of God in Columbus, and the Bible Study Group & Overcomers Sunday School Class of First Assembly of God. Memorials may be made to North Mississippi Medical Center Inpatient Hospice Unit, 830 South Gloster, Tupelo, MS 38801. Visitation will be Monday 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home and the body will be at First Assembly of God in Columbus Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 P.M
