Mrs. Mae Weathers Caudill Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Mae Weathers Caudill, 96, passed away, on December 6, 2014, at Waverly Care Home in West Point. Mrs. Mae was born October 25, 1918, in Atwood, AL, the daughter of the late Alonzo Marcus and Dorena Bingham Weathers. She was a Dental Assistant and had retired from Sears after 28 years as an Assistant Manager. She was a member of the West Point Church of Christ. Since 1975, she was a very active member of the Pilot Club. She married Tillman E. Caudill November 30, 1938, in Aberdeen, and he passed away September 15, 1995. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by Three Sisters: Alice Wethers Orr, Jeanette Weathers Sanders and Iness Weathers Watson; and by Three Brothers: James Carl Weathers, Willie Howard Weathers, and Billy F. Weathers. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at 10:00 A.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Aubrey Belue officiating, and the Eulogy being delivered by Mr. Ore Jones, Jr. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers will be Charlie Caudill, J.C. Weathers, III, Christopher Watson, Mike Weathers, Andrew Lewis, Evan Gregory, Robert Lewis, Ore Jones, Jr., and Bobby Huffman. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Edmund A. Miller, Jr., Dr. John Cox, Hubert Nowell, Bill Sanders, Jim Weathers, Bill Weathers, George Caudill, Members of West Point Church of Christ, and the Staff of Waverly Care Home. Memorials may be made to West Point Church of Christ, P.O. Box 869, West Point, MS 39773. Visitation will be Monday 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
