Mrs. Mary Henry McClain

March 8, 1928 - January 22, 2018

Mrs. Mary Henry McClain, 89, passed away on January 22, 2018, at Wellstar Community Hospice at Tranquility Cobb, in Austell, GA. Mrs. Mary was born on March 8, 1928, in Mathiston, the daughter of the late Hearon O. and Sylbia Jones Henry. Mrs. Mary worked as a Quality Control Supervisor for Knickerbocker and Big Yank for 45 years. Mrs. Mary was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Point. Mrs. Mary was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son: Robert McClain, a Sister: Otis Darsey, and Four Brothers: Owenton, Robert, Glenn, and Tim Henry. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 27, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating and assisted by Reverend Todd Chesser. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Her Two Sons, Danny McClain and David McClain, both of Douglasville, GA: Eight Grandchildren: Chris McClain, Colby McClain, Alex McClain Dyess, Michael McClain, Jason McClain, Elizabeth McClain Laney, Richard McClain, and Candace McClain Harris, 11 Great-Grandchildren: Avery McClain, Audrey McClain, Ian McClain, Noah McClain, Greyson McClain, Ellie McClain, Lydia Laney, Alyssa McClain, Alyssa McClain, Jacob Jones and Jayme Jones; Three sisters, Willene Harper and Maudie Young (Gailon), both of West Point, and Anniece Breland of Mathiston; and a Brother, Burl Henry (Betty) of West Point. Pallbearers will be Joe Henry, Dale Henry, Jeff Henry, Richard McClain, Colby McClain, and Jason McClain. Visitation will be Saturday 12:00-2:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
