Mrs. Mildred Kehl Strain

May 24, 1918 - September 5, 2016

Mrs. Mildred Kehl Strain, 98, passed away on September 5, 2016, at Dugan Memorial Home in West Point. She was born May 24, 1918, in West Point to the late Maude Littell and Charles Kehl. She was a homemaker and a Communicant of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in West Point. She married Woodrow Strain on February 21, 1945, and he predeceased her on June 29, 2000. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by several sisters and two brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 7, 2016, at 3:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Father Channappareddy Basani officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Debbie Beebe (Clifford) of Navarre, FL: two sons, Thomas G. Kelly of Gulf Breeze, FL and John D. Strain of West Point: three grandchildren, three great grandchildren; and Her two sisters, Virginia Johnson of West Point, and Frances East of Oak Ridge, TN, and Numerous Nieces and Nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be the Staff of Dugan Memorial Home, Dr. Andrew Wartak, and Dr. Edmund A. Miller, Jr. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
