David Oliver Malone, 63, passed away, Friday, October 28, 2011, Hwy 50 East, near West Point. David Oliver Malone was born February 6, 1948 in Caledonia, Mississippi to the late Jewel Watson and Edward Floyd Malone and was the Marketing co-ordinator for CECO Mfg for 40 years. He was a member of the Church of the Incarnation. David Oliver Malone married Linda Lowry Malone September 30, 1972, in West Point. Funeral services will be Monday, October 31, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Father Karl Schaffenburg officiating. Burial will follow in Columbus Memorial Garden Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include his wife, Linda Lowry Malone; one daughter, Emily Malone; one son, Eddie Malone (Kelsey) all of West Point; Three grandchildren; Caylon, Branson and Zack. Honorary Pallbearers will be Don Permenter and Norman Armstrong. . Memorials may be made to R.I.D.E.S., 540 Gurlie Malone Road, Caledonia, MS 39740-9541 or to Bryan Public Library, 338 Commerce Street, West Point, MS 39773. Visitation will be Sunday, 5:00-7:00 at Calvert Funeral Home.
