Mr. Keith Middleton

Keith Middleton, 84, passed away, on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at Kosciusko State Veterans Home, in Koscuisko. William Keith Middleton was born August 3, 1928 in Webster County Mississippi to the late Georgia Mattie Shewmake Middleton and Dalton Bradley Middleton. Mr. Middleton worked in Management for Babcock & Wilcox Company until retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a member of West Point Masonic Lodge # 40 F. & A.M. as well as the Chapter #95, Council #16 and Commandery # 20. He was a Veteran of the U. S. Army having served during Korean War. Keith Middleton married Myra Odean Clanton Middleton on November 4, 1950; in Bellefontaine, Mississippi she preceded him in death on January 4, 2005. Funeral services will be Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church with the Reverend Dale Funderburg officiating. The body will lie at the church from 1:30 p.m.until service time at 2:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include three daughters, Marcie M. Bean (Donny) of Crestwood, KY, Ann M. Wilkerson (Charley Crawford) of West Point, Myra M. Boles (Hardiman) of Independence; one son, Mark Middleton (Glenda) of Winona; nine grandchildren; CPT William Christopher Bean, 1LT Shaun Lee Bean (Allyson), Justin Travis Wilkerson, James Eric Wilkerson, Heather Love Dodd, Trevor Clanton Middleton, Hanna Kate Dodd, Walker Hamilton Middleton, Kerry Hardiman Boles; one sister, Bobbie Blaylock of Eupora. His sister Jewel Peacock, and three brothers, Wayne Middleton, Travis Middleton, and Kenneth Middleton preceded him in death Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Justin Travis Wilkerson, CPT William Christopher Bean, James Eric Wilkerson, LT Shaun Lee Bean, Walker Hamilton Middleton, Trevor Clanton Middleton, Kerry Hardiman Boles. Honorary Pallbearers will be John A. Kolb, Rock Redmond, Al Sims, Jesse Harmon, Nephews, Stan Blaylock, Larry Middleton, Dalton Middleton, David Middleton, Terry Stewart, Mike Trussell, Steve Clanton, Ronnie Clanton, Brad Middleton and Steve Middleton. Memorials may be made to Sally Kate Winters Home for Children, P. O. Box 1233, West Point, MS 39773 or to Special Olympics of Mississippi, P. O. Box 2115, Madison, MS 39130-2115 or Alzheimers Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601 Visitation will be Monday, 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
