Mrs. Roberts Hamlin

Ina Roberts Hamlin, 74, passed away, on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at the Specialty Hospital, in Meridian. Ina Loyce Roberts Hamlin was born January 26, 1938 in Muldon, Mississippi to the late Sallie Fisher Meek Roberts and William Riley Roberts. She was a Cosmetologist and Homemaker and a member of the First Christian Church. Ina Roberts Hamlin married Judson E. Hamlin on January 3, 1958, at the Strong Methodist Church; he preceded her on June 16, 1991. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 25, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. James Towery officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery, West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include two daughters, Betsy Ann Hamlin Marlin of Huntsville, TX, and Nancy Jolayne Hamlin Cliett (Charles) of West Point; one son, Judson Eugene Hamlin, Jr. of Anaheim, CA; two grandchildren; Charles Anthony Cliett, Jr. and Robert Matthew Marlin; two sisters, Roxie Pearson (Sammy) of Aberdeen, Sallie Mae Watson (George) of Aberdeen; one brother, William Thompson Roberts all of Aberdeen. Preceding her in death were her sister, Joyce Roberts Pinkerton and brother Wesley Riley Roberts. Pallbearers will be William Riley Roberts, James Wiley Roberts, Samuel Clay Pearson, Michael Ray Pearson, J. W. Pinkerton, Jr., George Franklin Watson, Jr., Caleb Easter, Charles Anthony Cliett, Jr, and Robert Matthew Marlin. Special People in her life were Dorothy Staten, Amanda Staten, Pat Pate, Mary Lou Walker, Beulah Wray, Faye Pearson, Pat May, Elizabeth Edwards, Tammy Farr, The Tin Lizzie Group, and The Main Street Market Family. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, P. O. Box 208, West Point, MS 39773 Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home
