Mrs. Peggy Boyette Bigham, 80, passed away on April 4, 2014, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Mrs. Peggy was born January 9, 1934, in Mathiston, the daughter of the late William Clay and Mattie Ruth Tollison Boyette. She was a retired seamstress with Monte Glove. She was also a retired school bus driver. She was a Baptist. She married Emmett Jefferson Bigham on December 5, 1953, in Webster County and he passed away August 7, 2013. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sons: Emmett "Sonny" Bigham and Gary Lynn Bigham, and by her Sister: Dorothy Fulgham, and her Brother: William Boyette. Funeral services will be Monday, April 7, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Terry Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Pheba Cemetery in Pheba. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Two Daughters, Barbara Phillips (Lamar) of Van Vleet and Brenda Washington (Bob) of Pheba; Three Sons, Royce Bigham (Linda) of West Point, Dale Bigham (Angel), and Patrick "Tenny" Bigham both of Pheba; Granddaughters: Julie Word, Melanie Gordon, Faith High, April Bigham, Erica Bigham, Elisha Cohea, Jennifer Stovall, Jessica Bigham, Lacy Bigham, and Emily Bigham; 46 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; Three Brothers, Randy Boyette (Sandra) of Columbus, Larry Boyette (Mary Jane) of Blue Ridge, TX, and Donald Boyette (Carolyn) of Huntsville, AL; and Daughter-in-law: Louise Bigham of Pheba. Pallbearers will be her Grandsons: Lamar Bigham, Nicholas Bigham, Michael Cohea, James Cohea, Robert Washington, Joby Washington, Lyndale Bigham, Johnathan Bigham, Samuel Bigham, Jason Bigham, Dwayne Bigham, Gary Bigham, and Will Phillips. Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. Andrew Wartak, Jimmy Wilbourn, Wally McGee, Jessica Flemmings, Jean Morton, and the Nurses & Staff of North Mississippi Medical Center Home Health Care. Memorials may be made to Pheba Cemetery Care Fund, Post Office Box 5, Pheba, MS 39755. Visitation will be Sunday 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
