Mrs. Nona B. Croft

August 28, 1941 - June 18, 2015

Cedar Bluff, MS - Nona Beth Noblin Croft, 73, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2015 at North Mississippi Medical Center - West Point. She was born August 28, 1941, in West Point, the daughter of the late Harold Anthony and Corinna Tribble Noblin. She was a Teacher with the West Point Public Schools for 32 years. She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church. She was an avid reader. She loved gardening and the word of God. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She married David Croft on March 11, 1961, in Reform, Alabama, who preceded her in death on October 28, 2011. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Doris Neal Noblin. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 3:00 PM. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Sarah Windam officiating and assisted by Chaplain Betty Wyatt. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Cedar Bluff. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her two sons: Rex Croft (Susan) of Cedar Bluff, and Mike Croft (Debbie) of Caledonia: two grandchildren: Faith Croft of Caledonia and Steven Croft of Cedar Bluff. Pallbearers will be Andy Cliett, Butch Blake, Rickey Blake, David Reeves, John Wright and Curtis Smith. Honorary Pallbearers will be Andy Williams and Bobby Harmon Memorials may be made to Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery, C/O Mrs. Anna Sims, 911 Henryville Road, Cedar Bluff, MS 39741 or to Palmer Home for Children, P. O. Box 746, Columbus, MS 39701. Visitation will be Saturday 1:00 - 3:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
