Mr. Robert Herring "Bobby" Hazlewood

May 7, 1956 - June 1, 2017

Mr. Robert Herring “Bobby” Hazlewood, 61, passed away on June 1, 2017, at his residence in Cedar Bluff. Bobby was born on May 7, 1956, in Clay County, the son of the late Sidney Earl and Helen Herring Hazlewood. Bobby was of the Baptist faith. Bobby retired from Bryan Foods after 28 years. Bobby loved fishing, hunting, and riding 4-wheelers. Bobby married Marilyn Dyann Tyler Hazlewood on May 24, 1979, in Carrollton, AL In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Eddie Hazlewood, Sr., his Step-Father: Kelly Clifton and a Step-Son: Jerry Douglas Coggins. Funeral services will be Sunday, June 4, 2017, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chris Craven officiating. Burial will follow in Cairo Cemetery in Cedar Bluff. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include His Wife: Dyann Tyler Hazlewood of Cedar Bluff; His Two Sons, Gregory Moore (Karla) of Cedar Bluff and Jeffery Moore (Tasha) of Mantachie; Five Grandchildren; Austin Beatty, Gregory Curtis Robert Moore, Joseph Curtis Moore, Alexander Moore, and Nicky Moore: His Two sisters, Sylvia McKee of Cedar Bluff, and Alice Eaton (Darrell) of West Point; and His brother, Johnny Hazlewood of West Point. Pallbearers will be Felix "Budgie" Tyler, Ernie Tyler, Maverick Eaton, Eddie Hazlewood, Jr., Robbin Morris, and Rowland Morris. Visitation will be Saturday 4:00-7:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
