Mr. Anthony Lynn Davis

Anthony Lynn Davis, 46, passed away on May 5, 2017 at at his residence, in Sturgis. Mr. Anthony Lynn Davis, was born on February 8, 1971, in West Point, the son of Reverend Donnie and Yvonne Davis. Anthony was a Installer for Champion Security. Anthony was a member of New Life Worship Center in Sturgis. Anthony was a avid and accomplished bass fisherman. Anthony was a super sports fan. Anthony was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents: Reverend Bennie and Sarah Elizabeth Cartee Davis, his Maternal Grandfather: Carbel Lee Ausborn and a sister: Kristi Renee Davis. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at 10:00 A.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Byron Davis officiating and assisted by Reverend Shane Davis. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Cedar Bluff. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include His two sons, Dalton Davis and Dylan Davis, both of Pheba: His parents: Reverend Donnie and Yvonne Davis of Sturgis:Maternal Grandmother: Lois Cleo Wright of Fulton and a number of other extended family and cousins. Pallbearers will be Dalton Davis, Dylan Davis, Anthony Davis, Walter Davis, Boyd Jr. Boland, and Pee Wee Boland. Honorary Pallbearers will be Gene McMillan and Keith Hall. Memorials may be made to New Life Worship Center, 3405 Pleasant Ridge Road, Strugis, MS 39769. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
