Mrs. Berryhill Simmons Obituary (1948

West Point, Mississippi - Carolyn Berryhill Simmons, 63, passed away, on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. Carolyn Berryhill Simmons was born on March 10, 1948 in West Point, Mississippi to Jimmie Dell Caradine Berryhill and Grady Berryhill. She was a bookkeeper for Clark Vending Company for 15 years and then for she and her husband Tommy’s East Side Storage. Mrs. Simmons was a member of Strong United Methodist. Carolyn Berryhill Simmons was married to Tommy Simmons on October 6, 1968 for 43 years. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Truman Thompson officiating, assisted by Reverend Sarah Windam. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Tommy Simmons; her daughter, Terri Dukeminier (John) all of West Point; her son, Scot Simmons (Brandy) of Southaven; her seven grandchildren; Nathan, Justin, Alli, Nicholas, Caroline, Andrew, and Shea; her parents, Grady and Jimmie Dell Berryhill; her sister, Judy Buck (Thad) all of West Point. Pallbearers will be Johnny Gilliland, Butch Fulgham, Robert Dillon, Bobby Bounds, Durward Ware, Jimmy Miskelly, and Ronnie Robinson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Class of 1966 West Point High School, and the Salty Sisters. Memorials may be made to Samaitan's Purse, P. O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 or to Palmer Home for Children, P.
