Mrs. Beth Stroud

Mrs. Beth Stroud, 72, passed away on February 1, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Beth was born on December 18, 1950, in Clay County, to the late T. D. and Elizabeth Christian. Beth was an educator for over 30 years. She was an active member of First Christian Church in West Point where she was a member of the Christian Women's Fellowship. She was a lifetime member of the Junior Auxiliary of West Point. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She married Mort Stroud on July 29, 1973, at the Griffith Christian Church. Visitation will be on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 1:30-3:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Eric Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include her husband, Mort Stroud: son, David Stroud and daughter-in-love, Stephanie: granddaughter, Kyla Stroud, and sister, Anita Christian Blackwell, all of West Point.
