Mr. Bobby Lee York

Mr. Bobby Lee York, 67, passed away on October 13, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus. Mr. Bobby was born July 7, 1947, in Starkville, the son of the late Robert Lee and Geneva Beatrice Ballard York. He retired from Dirt Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and work in his garden. He loved life. He married Marjorie Guest York on April 11, 1998, in Starkville. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his Sister: Betty Sue Smith and by Brothers: William Randle and George Bruce York. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, October 15, 2014, at 2:00 P.M. from Craig Springs Cemetery near Starkville with Brother Johnny Buckner officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include His Wife, Marjorie York; and One Son, Robert Lee York both of Cedar Bluff; One Sister, Shirley K. Ridenour of Starkville; and Two Brothers, Larry York (Marilyn) of Las Vegas, NV, and Glenn Lester York (Sonya) of Ackerman. Visitation will be Wednesday 11:00-1:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
