Briggs Michael Berry Obituary (2020

Briggs Michael Berry, 2, passed away peacefully, on August 26, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Eupora. Briggs was born on July 17, 2020, in Memphis, Tennessee, to parents Matt and Madison Berry. Briggs was a happy boy that won the hearts of many people across the world. He encountered challenges in his short life, but he faced each one valiantly and exceeded all expectations. He loved watching “All Engines Go”, enjoyed rolling all around, and playing in anyone’s hair that would let him. His signature curly hair and his toothy grin was loved by all. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 12:00-2:00 PM at First Baptist Church in West Point. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Reverend Dale Funderburg officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Bluff Cumberland Presbyterian Cemetery in Cedar Bluff. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include his parents, Matt and Madison Berry: his siblings, Bentley, Emma, and Matthew: maternal grandparents, Jaimy and Regina Towery: his paternal grandparents, Mike and Peggy Pittman: his maternal great-grandparents: Burt and Ann Nix and James and Brenda Towery: paternal great-grandmother, Jean Berry, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly. Pallbearers will be Marlin Towery, Jordi Card, Josh Coleman, and Ricky Breland.
