Deana Sue Brewer

Deana Sue Brewer, 53, passed away on October 9, 2022 at her residence in Cedar Bluff. Deana was born on April 26, 1969, in West Point, to Scott Brewer, Jr. and the late Frances Roberts Brewer. Deana worked as a Receiving Clerk for Mississippi Steel Processing in Columbus. She loved traveling, especially going to the beach. Her hobbies were whatever her kids and grandkids were involved in. She enjoyed all kinds of music. She was a Cowboys and Yankees fan. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and was devoted to her family. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Nicholas Dean Coggins. Visitation will be on Thursday, from 5:00-6:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. A Memorial Service will follow at 6:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kendall Pickens officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include her daughter, Brooke Brewer of West Point: two sons, Colby Pennington (Megin) of West Point and Dallas Pennington (Alicia) of New Hope: seven grandchildren, Jackson Coggins, Braydon Pennington, Angelina Coggins, Kaelyn Pennington, Waylon Pennington, Denver Grace Pennington, and Adalyn Rose Pennington: her Father Scott Brewer, Jr., of Cedar Bluff and one brother, Byron Brewer of Cedar Bluff.
