Mrs. Debbie Bethany-Shaw Obituary (1956

Debbie Bethany-Shaw, 56, passed away, on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at The Vineyard Court, in Columbus. Debbie Loraine Bethany Shaw was born April 25, 1956 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to the late Ruth Kelly Bethany and Aubrey Bethany. Mrs. Shaw worked in Property Management for Southern Investment Management. She was a graduate of Aberdeen High School-1974, and Mississippi State University and was a member of First Christian Church. Debbie Bethany-Shaw married Jack B. Shaw in 1985 in Las Vegas, NE, he preceded her in death on July 8, 2001. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 17, 2012, 11:00 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Albert Wilkerson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include one daughter, Drucilla Meggs (Michael) of Columbus; two grandchildren; Jack and Noah Meggs; one sister, Janis Holloway (Harold) of Hamilton, MS; two brothers, Kelly Bethany (Polly) of Amor, Frank Bethany (Sharon) of Memphis, TN. Two brothers preceded her in death, James Bethany and Jack Bethany. Pallbearers will be Michael Meggs, Tony Holloway, Chris Holloway, Michael Williams, Taylor Chisolm, and Mike Meggs. Memorials may be made to First Christian Church, P. O. Box 208, West Point, MS 39773 Visitation will be Saturday, 9:30 until 11:00 a.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
