Mr. R. Woolsey

Dennis R. Woolsey, 65, passed away, on Monday, September 2, 2013 at OCH Regional Medical Center, in Starkville. Dennis was born August 20, 1948 in Cook County Illinois to the late Dolores Glowacki and Robert Hardy Woolsey, Sr. He was a Truck Driver, Bartender and Metal Worker and was of the Catholic faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy having served during 1970's. Dennis R. Woolsey married Mary Weedon Woolsey August 9, 2006, in Alabama. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 14, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home with a stateroom service with friends sharing special thoughts. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include wife Mary Weedon Woolsey of Cedar Bluff; one daughter, Hope Weedon (John Oswalt) of West Point; three grandchildren; Dustin Weedon, Ashley Weedon and Hannah Oswalt; sisters, Kathie Girard of Kankakee, IL, Sherry Woolsey of Chebanse, IL, Janiene Walters of Chebanse, IL; two brothers, Robert H. Woolsey, Jr. (Julie) of Lowell, IL, Jim Woolsey of Chebanse, IL; and a number of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Visitation will be Saturday, September 14, 2013 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. at Calvert Funeral Home.
