Mrs. Harmon Sikes

Sylvia Harmon Sikes, 68, passed away, on April 29, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle, in Columbus. She was born July 4, 1944, in Clay County the daughter of the late Mary Aumarie Davis and Sam Harmon. She was a Homemaker and a Baptist. She married Wayne Grant Sikes August 1, 1966, in Lowndes County. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with the Brother Donnie Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Her Husband: Wayne Sikes of Hamilton; 1 Daughter: Suzanne Odom of Hamilton; 2 sons, Billy Sikes of Cullman, AL, and Chad Sikes of Hanceville, AL; 7 Grandchildren: Dustin Odom, Anna Odom, Drew Odom, Jackson Sikes, Grant Sikes, Bryce Sikes, and Abby Sikes; 1 sister, Sandra King (Kenny Roberts) of Hamilton, and 1 brother, Ben Harmon of West Point. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother: David Harmon Pallbearers will be Dustin Odom, Drew Odom, Kenny Stokes, Kenny Roberts, Jackson Sikes, Grant Sikes, Bryce Sikes, Tommy Harmon. Visitation will be Tuesday 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home.
