Mrs. Kuykendall Robertson Obituary (1932

Mrs. Sally Kuykendall Robertson, 79, passed away, Friday, September 16, 2011at the Franklin County Memorial Hospital, in Meadville, Mississippi. Sally Ann Robertson was born April 26, 1932 in Cruger, Mississippi to the late Katherine Louise Watkins and Edgar Kuykendall. Mrs. Robertson was a MSU Athletic Ticket Manager retired in 1984 for 13 years. She was a member of First Christian Church and was an avid Mississippi State Fan. Sally Kuykendall Robertson married John William Robertson on October 22, 1949, in Canton, Mississippi. Funeral services will be Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery Montpelier, Mississippi. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, John Robertson of West Point; two sons, Johnny Robertson of Starkville, Todd Robertson (Jan) of West Point; two grandsons; Taylor Robertson (Lindsey) of Northport, AL, Scot Bryan (Ginger) of West Point, sisters, Nancy Keller (Harold) of West Point and a number of three nieces. Pallbearers will be Justin Davis, Gary Davis, Paul Caskey, Ronnie Robinson, Jim Beane, and Robert Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Special Thanks to the Nurses and Staff, of Franklin County Memorial Hospital, in Meadville, and Dr. Benjamin Yarbrough, Harold Keller, and Marc Davis Memorials may be made to Palestine Cemetery Care Fund, c/o Mr. Jim Murray, 18515 Hwy 46, West Point, MS 39773 or to West Point/Clay County Animal Shelter, 1212 Old Tibbee Road, West Point, MS 39773.
