Mr. Larry McCary

Mr. Larry McCary, 69, passed away on May 17, 2025, at Starkville Manor in Starkville. Larry was born on October 30, 1955, to the late Harry and Anna Edwards McCary. He worked as a Hot Bender at Babcock and Wilcox for many years. He attended First Baptist Church in West Point. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Eva Landess and one brother, Paul McCary. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 9:45-10:00 A.M. at Memorial Garden Cemetery in West Point. Graveside services will follow at 10:00 A.M. with Dr. James Towery officiating. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Ruth P. McCary of West Point: a brother-in-law, Joe Landess of South Carolina, and a number of other extended family. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
