Patricia "Pat" Landin Dennis

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia “Pat” Landin Dennis, age 80, of Spring, Texas on Saturday, February 8, 2025. Pat was born in Knoxville, Tennessee, on May 20, 1944, to parents John David Landin, Sr. and Frances Irene Cantrell Landin. She graduated from Annandale High School in Fairfax County, Virginia and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science Degree from Mississippi State College for Women in Columbus. On August 28, 1965, Pat married the love of her life, James “Jim” Franklin Dennis, Jr. The family grew to a family of 4 with additions of daughters, Karen Rebecca and Kathryn Elizabeth. Pat enjoyed a successful career in Child Nutrition at Lamar Elementary School in The Woodlands, Texas. From there she transitioned to a second career in Records Management for Mitchell Energy and Development in The Woodlands, Texas. Pat was a warm and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who delighted in spending time with her family. She was also passionate about traveling and was a dedicated member of The Cardinal RV Club and The River City Trikers. She was an intelligent woman who loved solving crossword puzzles and sudoku. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Frances and John Landin, Sr. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim: two daughters, Karen Rebecca Rogers and Kathryn Elizabteh Myklebust: one grandson, Conner Aaron Futrell: one great-grandson, Landin Riley Futrell: two brothers, John David Landin and Mark Taylor Landin, and one sister, Rebecca Landin. Pat will greatly be missed and will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Calvert Funeral Home in West Point. A Celebration of Life will follow at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charlie Simmons officiating.
