Mrs. Ramona Harrison Smith Obituary (1930

Mrs. Ramona Harrison Smith, 87, passed away on March 10, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in West Point. Mrs. Ramona was born in Mountain Aire, NM, in Torrance County, the daughter of the late William Carroll and Rhoda Belle Thorpe Harrison. She worked for 30 years as a Licensed Practical Nurse in California. She was a Baptist and enjoyed both crossword puzzles and crocheting. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands: Jack F. Woods, Sr. and Dale Smith; Four Sisters: Gertrude Huey, Juanita Underwood, Pearl Lary, and Annie Blankenheim; and by Three Brothers: Carroll W., Earl S., and Ronnie Gene Harrison. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 13, 2018, at 2:00 P.M. from Calvert Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Terry Herndon officiating and assisted by Mrs. Candis Langley. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in West Point. Calvert Funeral Home of West Point is in charge of arrangements. Survivors include Daughter, Gwendolyn Raye Wimmer (Byron) of Anderson, CA; Two Sons, Jesse Allen Woods (Mary Jane) of Baxter, MN and Jack F. Woods, Jr. (Kitty) of West Point; Seven Grandchildren: Jennifer Woods White of Redding, CA, Charlotte Wimmer of Cottonwood, CA, Byron Wimmer, Jr. of Pismo Beach, CA, Kimberly McMahan of Vardaman, Brandon Wilmeth of West Point, Alex Sandelin of Baxter, MN, and Stephen Sandelin of Baxter, MN; Six Great Grandchildren: Macie Wimmer, Breannon Wimmer, Jackson Langley, Allison Brents, Macie White, and Garrett White; and a number of Nieces and Nephews. Pallbearers will be Randle Whitmire, Scott O'Brian, Brandon Wilmeth, Ben Langley, Jackson Langley, and Kevin McMahan. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
