  • E. Scott  Allen

    E. Scott Allen Consultant

    E. Scott Allen has been with the firm professionally since August 1973 coming from an early background in the funeral service alongside his parents Lacy and Bonnie Allen for 28 years. Scotty is an honor graduate of Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science’s Delta Tau Class of August 1973. Scotty and his wife Beverly and their three sons Scott, Brian and Hayden have all taken part in the life of the business during their time at home. Scott lives in Montgomery, AL. He is a Personal Financial Advisor with New York Life Insurance Company. He and his wife, Jennie, have two daughters: Olivia and Charlotte Hayden. Brian is an honor graduate of East Mississippi Community Mortuary Science College at Scooba, Mississippi and an honor graduate of Mississippi State University in May, 2007. He is an 2013 honor graduate with a Masters degree of Education from San Francisco State University. Brian and his wife, Gabby, live in San Francisco and have one son, Brogan. Hayden and wife Jessica Bohon Allen welcomed their first daughter, Zoe Jayne, in 2010 and second daughter, Anberlyn, in 2017. He received his BS in Business Spring of 2014 from MUW. Hayden passed away suddenly on March 12, 2017. Scotty retired from service December 27, 2013 and serves as a consultant to the firm.

  • Nina Towery Coleman

    Nina Towery Coleman Administrative Assistant

    Nina joined Calvert Funeral Home as our Administrative Assistant in January 2015. She is a 1993 graduate of Hamilton High School and attended Itawamba Community College, majoring in Surgical Technology. She and her husband, Josh, are active members of West End Baptist Church in West Point where Nina is the Music Director and plays the piano. They are proud aunt and uncle to 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 4 great-nieces and 3 great-nephews. They lost a great-nephew, Briggs, on August 26, 2022.When not working, Nina and Josh enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
